Taize Prayer Vigil

As part of our Centennial Celebration in school, we hosted a Taize Prayer Vigil which was on July 23-24, 6pm-6am. This was a chance for learners from different schools to interact with one another through prayer and reflection. It started with the learners grouping themselves and then we played a game of "Bahay Bata Bagyo" as an ice breaker. After that, we had a talk and then supper to follow. After which, we had the main prayer vigil. We then had the presentations of the learners which was very entertaining. We had another talk after that. Then, we had a group activity. We presented our outputs during the mass which followed.
At first, I was absolutely excited about the event. I was not disappointed. Although, I was very very very tired after the event. When I got home, I slept straight until 12pm.
This Taize Prayer Vigil was a great experience. I hope that we'll have more of these in the upcoming school years.
