Last Saturday, August 7, 2010, I had the most surreal experience. I had a taste of the famous life or what I now call "Buhay Artista".
In the morning, I participated in an outreach program in school, the Free Clinic, wherein I poured hot noodles into plastic cups to serve to the less fortunate. I got burnt a lot of times and it hurt so bad. But that's the price of helping out.
In the early afternoon, I went to my cousin's birthday party at Punta Villa. I had lunch there and swam for about an hour or so. There was a moment wherein my cousins and I decided to do something bad. We slid down the big slide, together. This was actually against the rules and I didn't want to do it but they said that we'll only do this once so I went for it. They told me to stay at the very end so that I won't get hurt in the initial impact. Well, let's just say that it wasn't a very good idea. Near the end of the slide, we slowed down. The people after us who wished to slide didn't know this so they just slid down very fast. I was kicked on the rear. Until now, it hurts.
In the late afternoon until nighttime, I had Velada practice. I also had a moment where I was physically hurt here. As we were moving the props, I carried the bench and I got hit on the toe. Hard. It left a mark and there's a red dot near it. This, also still hurts.
So one day, I was able to both develop and damage four aspects of my life: outreach (community service), family, school, and talent.
That's my life, my "buhay artista".
